Occidental Mindoro and Oriental Mindoro are the two provinces that comprise the island of Mindoro in the Philippines. Occidental Mindoro is located in the western portion of the island, while Oriental Mindoro occupies the eastern part. The two provinces are separated by a range of mountains.
