Tarlac is a province in the Philippines situated in the Central Luzon region occupying the central section of Luzon. Its capital is the City of Tarlac.

The province has a land area of 3,046.49 square kilometers or 1,176.26 square miles. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 1,503,456. This represented 12.10% of the total population of the Central Luzon region, 2.42% of the overall population of the Luzon island group, or 1.38% of the entire population of the Philippines. Based on these figures, the population density is computed at 494 inhabitants per square kilometer or 1,278 inhabitants per square mile.
